Live chat: running an online home-based business

During the live chat session we will be looking at the following areas:

  • If you are running a home-based business, what are the key issues you face?  How do you address these?
  • How are home-based businesses viewed by others – customers? suppliers? funders?  Do home-based entrepreneurs engage in 'impression management' to address the opinions of others?
  • Does running a business from home fit into family life – or does it cause tensions?
  • Do home-based entrepreneurs suffer from isolation?  What types of isolation?
  • Is running a business from home a stepping stone to a bigger business – or are these 'lifestyle businesses'?
